If you’ve seen any TV at all over the years, Barbara Walters has been a familiar and ubiquitous presence on NBC and ABC for a very long time (starting with NBC in 1961). What with hosting 20/20, NBC’s Today show, co-anchoring the ABC Evening News, being a correspondent on ABC World News, and more recently showing up in the mornings on that delightfully controversial and irreverent program – The View.
