Tracy Wood became the youngest partner ever in Ernst & Young's history in exactly a year ago in July 2005, at the age of 28 and just four years after she joined the firm's Manchester office. Recently and well-deservedly, she was named as one of UK's top 35 businesswomen under 35 by the magazine Management Today. Congratulations to Tracy for this accomplishment...

Yeah its possible in US by doing some extra ordinary stufff,,,,
well I work in the Deloitte office in Sydney, Australia, and over here we have a partner (in IT, mind you) who apparently made partner when he was 25.
wow that's great, It can happen in any part of the world but in India its next to possible.
i think there is a partner in EY chennai,india who was partner before 28 although he must have taken more than 4 years to get there.
Boy you guys/gals are so mean! However, I like your honesty and I completely agree with your statements that it's literally impossible for a female that young to make it to a partner level so young and that she must have done numerous favors with many of the partners to get that far ahead within the firm.
im not opposed to putting out to make partner... a small price to pay for 250 a year.
