Ernst and Young Paints Bright Future for Electric Cars. Can Tesla Benefit??

Ernst & Young’s Global Automotive Center finds that over 25% of 1,000 drivers surveyed across US, Europe, China and Japan would likely consider purchasing plug-in hybrid (PHEVs) or electric vehicle (EVs) as soon as they become available on the market, according to research by. Nearly 7% of respondents globally indicated they would definitely consider buying a PHEV or EV.

Grant Thornton: Do Not Expect Higher Salary or Bonus This Year



Grant Thornton has some less than promising news for all professionals.


The firm surveyed 496 U.S. CFOs and senior comptrollers from March 22 through April 5, 2009, and found that 53% plan no salary changes in the next 6 months, while 32% plan to decrease and 15% plan to increase...

KPMG Survey Finds EU Heading Rapidly Towards Recession


KPMG finds the European Union is quickly heading towards a recession. The recently published KPMG Business Outlook Survey, which questions 2,800 service sector firms all across the Union finds that the 12-month outlook for business activity has turned negative. Moreover, activity is expected to decrease on both volume and revenue fronts, and disturbingly, every non-price measure has fallen into negative territory, including new business, employment, profits, capital expenditure and outsourcing...
